My dividend checks came.

I'll try not to spend it all in one place.

Yet another thing we have in common! LOL! I have one company that has sent me great dividends like that for years, and I just laugh! What else can you do? Sell and make a HUGE profit??? ;-)

XO,

Sheila

Whoa! Is that enough to buy some gum? :-) Have fun. I agree with Joyce, spend half (gum) save half.

LOL! That's so funny, don't spend it all at once, in fact that's probably worth framing ;)

Thanks for the lovely comment you left on my blog x

Happy New Year to you and yours and here's to a happy and healthy 2009!

Blessings

That's 12 cents more than I earned this week. Ah, the life of a freelancer.

I am laughing so hard right now. I am sure that it cost them more to print, cut and mail that check than it is worth.

Oh, most certainly spread your wealth. Spend it in 12 places! Or feel REALLY benevolent, and just give it away to some unsuspecting soul.Hee!!

Wow! That's not even worth the cost of the paper! Or the trouble and gas it will take to cash it! Too funny!
Have a great new year!

I'm wondering just what you can buy for .12!! We get these little checks now and then, too. J always says something about the loss of trees for this sort of "paperwork".

I just read your comment, about inner ear, at the Back Porch. Many years ago, I worked for Monsanto(micro chip facility). My job required me to look into a microscope, watching a tiny prob hit each tiny micro chip as the wafer skimmed back and forth. Now and then the probe dropped a tiny dot of ink on a bad chip. I was hit with one of those inner ear things while at work and tried my best to complete the day. Finally I decided I was not going to be able to. That was the worst bout with inner ear problems, I've ever had. Someone drove me to my physician and then home. The physician advised I take dramamine and stay in bed a couple of days. This worked wonderfully well. I've since moved to benadryl and it works as well. I haven't been hit as bad as that one, since. I don't know if it was a whopper or if looking into the microscope just made it seem that way. The other day, just as soon as I sat up from my nap, I was pretty sure what was going on and just happened to have benadryl. I have a slight bee sting allergy. My primary care physician (J's cardiologist), told me to carry benadryl at all times, in the event of bee sting. He said to take two if one doesn't work. Fortunately I haven't had to use benadryl for stings since discovering the allergy. Of course, if that allergy is more severe, I would need to carry the pens. Anyway, thanks to the bee sting thing, I had what I needed in my little med bag.
Sorry for the long comment, but I felt an explanation for the use of benadryl was needed.

Thanks so much for the compliment on our little redo, here at the condo. We've owned the place going on 6 years and have never painted, beyond the builder white, until recently. We will do the foyer and kitchen area and leave the rest for our children to complete. We aren't real crazy about painting!!

Funny, I got a big rebate from Staples, $3.00, what can I buy, not even a tall Skinny Vanilla Latte at Starbucks, let's hope 2009 brings you more dividends!!

I told the Fiance about this and he went to his office and retrieved his 29cent check from Microsoft's dividends.
