When life imitates art.

Miss Maggie enjoyed the snow at the beach more than any of us (though my Christmas Eve day-off-romp-in-the-snow with her pictured above was pretty much the most fun I've had in eons). But can you believe just one week to the day after the Nor'Easter, our house went from looking like this:

To this:

(And yes those are Halloween pumpkins on the porch rail. Don't judge. :-)

Love your house and Maggie in the snow. I can't believe what a week can do....but I have to say I have issues with mixing my holiday decor...it's just me! Happy New Year!

Yes don't judge. Pumpkins on porches in December are a Jersey tradition! I'm glad you are out from under the snow. I LOVE how your photograph of Maggie matches the pillow exactly. Did you make that or was it just a coincidence?

The real and the art - - - which is which???? I LOVE it.

LOL LOL LOL LOL

That's me rolling on the floor about your "don't judge" comment.

I feel SO affirmed by your pumpkins.

My sister( Frau) is matchy/matchy sometimes, just put some mistletoe on the pumpkin and it works!

As for the pillow? Dont' you love it? I sell that line and not only love the awesome quality, but the designs are wonderful.
Go to www.Chandler4corners.com if you want to see more. ( I don't work for them, they are out of Manchester, Vt.)

Amazing how well Maggie's photo matches the pillow. As for the pumpkins those work for Thanksgiving too. We still have a Halloween decoration hanging in the garden window. No judging here.

Wow! That is incredible. Go, Maggie.

I was so happy to see the piles (of mostly dirty) snow gone. But then we got more today! Ugh!

And I'm not judging the pumpkins but something must have been in the soil this year because a lot of our neighbors still have their pumpkins from Halloween. How did they not rot?

No judgement from me. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year, my sweet, virtual pal :) Well..hopefully not just virtual for long! Here's to a great 2010 all aroound :)

BTW, have you seen that show 'Jersey Shore' on MTV? OMG, they've butchered our fair shore! They must have filmed it prior to Memorial Day weekend, or after Labor Day, since it's dead, and they totally stereotyped Jersey as full of guidos and guidettes LOL Total joke!

Happy New Year to you and the family the snow sure did melt off quickly.

Love the pic of Maggie juxtaposed against that cute, cute, CUTE pillow!

Sending you big hugs across the miles for the best New Year ever!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Your pillow and the photo are amazing you are very talented and it sounds like the beach was so much fun. And what to judge we don't do Halloween in Australia so I don't know what the judgement is about the pumpkin look great they are so festive. Your house looks smashing I'm glad that it it going so well.

And yes the recipe for the brownies using condensed milk sounds delicious. Thank you for that.

Happy new year and have a great year ahead.

I love that photo of Maggie! Dogs do love the snow so much don't they?

I'm surprised the squirrels have not gotten to you pumpkins as yet! They ate half of mine before I knew it.

Let's hope there will be no big snow storms in '10! I like a sprinkling of snow to make everything look pretty and then melts the next day..lol
