Well knock me over with a feather!
If you're willing to put in some time crawling around specialty stores to comb their off- (off-off-OFF) season shelves (or dusty boxes) you could find something perfectly fancy for 72 cents, like this fabulous black Halloween feather tree...The other lady of the house seems to approve of the purchase, too. (Either that or she sees a bird outside.)
Is it Halloween yet?

That mournful face... those eyes! *sigh*
SSSSSH!! We haven't even had the joy of spring or summer and you're already pining for fall?
Laura, LOL! What a cute post, and I am hoping that Halloween is far, far away as I don't think I've recuperated from last Christmas yet, and if it were Halloween, it would mean Christmas would be nearby. So don't enourage it because I've got to have some down time after this last one. LOL!
Love your tree, friend! And really loved the price! :-)
XO,
Sheila
